![]() Hello All, I seem to be having the same red light/green light problems that many others have had. I am using iBook with OSX and I have a network connection. I have read some of the posts and tried some of the solutions there (forcing IP, uploading files) but to no avail. I am sharing about 400 of 1500 available files. Can someone please advise? Any help is mucha appreciated. Thanks |

![]() First off, send version 3.5.8 to the trash. it doesn't work properly with OSX but these high and mightys think it does. go here http://www3.limewire.com/download/ and download version 3.3.4 for OSX. it actually works. they released 3.5.8 with too many bugs for OSX. use the old one until they figure their crap out. |

![]() I noticed that that version was a bit buggy too. Go back to the download page and get 3.4.5. Then once you get it up and have selected your download, minimize LimeWire while it downloads. You can go back and check on it, but don't leave the window open if you plan on doing something else like browsing or running another program. I know it sounds kooky, but I ran several tests this weekend and it seems to work. I was able to maintain the connection and complete several full downloads without an interruption. Give it a shot and let me know what happens. Oh, BTW, I am running OSX 10.1.5, not 10.2x. |

![]() Fleishmann, Thank you for your help. Although it makes no sense, you advice worked. Hopefully Limewire will continue to work as I have notice by reading other posts that it sometimes doesn't. It's a great program though and worth the extra effort. Thanks again Marcia |
