Question Perplexing problems with ICS (weird stuff!!!)

I had been successfully using Limewire on my ICS network for about a month - until the other day Limewire stopped connecting on the "internal" machine (using cable) thru a gateway machine. The gateway machine continues to work fine thru the cable, but the internal one fails to connect, and then prevents all other apps from accessing the internet (browser, email, nntp, etc) until a reboot. then all is well. I thought maybe the install got corrupt and removed and reinstalled Limewire (even tried 1.5). No change. Formatted drive and reinstalled Win98se fresh and Limewire 1.5 - no luck! Then I tried to isolate by dialing out using 56k from internal machine and another ISP. Works fine. Must be either the ICS or the cable ISP, right? But since I can still use Limewire on the gateway PC, it CAN'T be the cable provider. Well, I then tried dialing up to my 56k ISP from the gateway PC and connecting Limewire from the internal PC, thru the ICS. Wow! works just fine. Now I'm stumped - The ICS isn't the culprit, the install isn't the culprit, the ISP isn't the culprit. What the heck could it be? Anyone who solves this gets a mention in my new book "It pays to be born rich" due out in stores after I write it.

Default ICS

Im using ICS and everything works fine, Even behind the gateway machine. the only thing i can think of is maybe you have some sort of firewall blocking it. ZoneAlarm could do that... reinstall and remove... that fixed a problem i had with another program i had.

Talking

Yes I think an errant install/operation of Zone Alarm is causing the problem. Uninstalled and reinstalled ZA and all appears to be well! Thanks.
