Default I have the same problem

I have just purchased a linksys wireless router and I can not seem to connect to Limewire. I tried it with my friend's airport router it worked fine..I have also done port forwarding and enabled port 6346 for both tcp and udp...so 6346 is not working for me either or may be I am doing something wrong on the setup

stief has a spectacular aura about
Default

linksys firmware upgrades can be tricky--check the comments on the upgrades at sites like this http://www.versiontracker.com/mp/new...&search=router

You can connect through many different ports--6346 is just the default, and second most popular looks to be 6348. I've even seen people use five digit ports.

As long as the router, firewall and preferences are set to your preferred port, the set-up should be OK.
