required to add hosts?
 

When I use Limewire, am I required to manually add hosts to my connection list in order to download files? I am not really familiar with the Gnutella network and I tried to find this info on the Limewire website, but with no result.

So after installing the Limewire software, can I immediately search for files or do I have to add host IPs in my connection window?

Go to the File Menu and click connect or go to preferences and select connect automatically.

When Limewire launches after that option is selected or you click connect, Limewire will automatically add IP to that list you see in your connection window. After a couple minutes you should have a stable connection and then you'll be able to search.
