Default firewall blocking connection

I use windows xp and I just installed a Mc Afee firewall and now I won't allow me to connect to the limewire network. How can I fix this?

deepblue is a great assister to others; your light through the dark tunnel

First a firewall does not block connections it just keeps you from shareing your files with others. But you can try going to options and under firewalls you check the box that says force IP. Hope this helps.

Default

Open the port 6346 in your firewall (if you changed the port use this).

@ deepblue

A firewall is blocking all connection (outgoing and incoming) on closed ports, it does a "little" more than just keeping you from sharing your files.
