connect to specific user
 
i want to send some songs to my brother. I don't know my IP address. how can i do this using lime wire? should i use a different program?

sending files: why not to use ftp to up' them if you the the partners ip-address?
Or mail?

Find out your ip-address:
on *ix machines enter ifconfig in a terminal (workx also on OS/2), or look at the network options if using KDE
On f***'in windows, there is a program called winipcfg.

Anyway, this doesnt help if you are behind a firewall and NAT is used.

a little more information would be really helpful
