Default connection/search problems (mac osx v 10.2.8

i downloaded the free version of limewire a few days ago to try it out before buying the pro version. everything worked fine for two days and now i'm experiencing what everyone else is going through - won't connect, can't search, light in the bottom left-hand corner is red and only turns green for a second or two, etc.

none of the suggested remedies are working for me. maybe i'm doing something wrong?

i'm running mac osx version 10.2.8.

for the two days it was working limewire was amazing. i wan't to upgrade, but only if the thing works.

any further suggestions or help would be appreciated.

I can assure you that LimeWire works just as well if not better than any other P2P program out there. As for your connection problems your connection has to do with the number of hosts there are. I have found that connections are best with LW version 3.6.15 PRO. Connections also have to do with the time of day you want to connect more people have their computers off at late night. I hope this helps.

I'm having the same problems here. Running the Limewire 3.6.15 PRO on sytem X 10.2.8 - will not connect. I have tried using modem and DSL connection still zilch. Works fine on 10.2.5 though. There is obviously a bug there somewhere.
