no download Absolutely baffled. When I put a search term in the field and press "search", or hit 'enter' the search term disappears, and nothing else happens. Why? How do I fix it? I re-installed the program, updated the Java Runtime, tried disconnecting the firewall (temporarily), nothing works. I'm running Win98se, 256K RAM. |

Only Limewire, Phex and Morpheus are using Java. I bet realneal is talking about Limewire. :) *thread moved* Quote:

Hi gang, I'm using LW Pro, v.3.6.15. Does that help? I'm full of answers, ask away. |
Did you try the suggestions from the LimeWire FAQ at www.limewire.com ? |
Hi everyone, Thanks, the LW app is working fine now. I opened up a new screen somehow and typed in the term, and , voila. Surf's up, -Neal |
search me no Hello all - Trouble me woe... I am also having trouble with the search - the only way I have been able to use it is to uninstall and reinstall. LimeWire V3.6.15 on XP using IE 6.0.2800.1106... |
Focker- At the top of the right-side screen, at the left corner, there are two tiny arrows. and one of them gives you a fresh screen which then shows you the download search you asked for. Took me a long time to try it. Their documentation didn't point me to that. Of course, then you have to find the download when it's fininshed. Best, -Neal |
