LW won´t connect anymore
 

Hi,

I´ve used LW for a couple of days, about 3 weeks ago. Had no problem connecting. But now it doesn´t connect anymore. The red light turns green for about half a second and then it goes red again. I am running ZoneAlarm but have allowed LW to connect so that´s not the problem. Tried removing the settings folder like it said in the sticky topic but that doesn´t help either. So, what now? Back to Kazaa?

How long do you have this problem? Did you change anything? Installed a new programm or did you update one?

No, no changes. I´ve used the program for the first time in 2 weeks or so. It worked fine before x-mas but now it just doesn´t connect. I have uninstalled programs, but nothing related to LW. I didn´t change the settings.

LIMEWIRE had problems with KAZAA
 

I had the same problem. LW was working just fine (downloading > 128KB), but then somebody install the KAZAA in my computer and when I unistall it, my LW died! I can't get conected to the gnutella network.

If someone has had the same problem let us know.

I'm running WinXP on DSL. I noticed today my Limewire wouldn't connect. Just kept giving me the red dot. I also realized I installed Windows Messenger today (NOT Aol Instant messenger, I already run that) and suddenly I couldn't connect to LImewire. I uninstalled Win Messenger and magically Limewire could find the connection.

Maybe this'll help someone.
