Can't connect to LimeWire
 

I can't connect to limewire! I try to search for something and it says I am not connected, so I go to file and click "connect." my cable internet IS working, but nothing happens. I keep trying to connect but it still doesn't work. I can listen to songs that I've already downloaded but can't search for new ones. does anyone know what's wrong? thanks a lot.

I am a new Limewire Pro user. I subscribed to get better loading, more facilities and no pop ups. I am connected to broadband all the time, but Limewire fails to launch. Clicking on 'connect' is a waste of time. What is the problem, I don't have any probs with other music download sites. Some help and advice from the top would be welcome!:

Firewalls, networks, or your ISP could be blocking your connection.
if you are useing a later version of limewire it could also help to upgrade, check out the LW site. http://www.limewire.com/english/content/downloads.shtml
