I got the error message again about not having a valid connection with the internet! I changed the port and it was working good until just now.

what port did you use!!!!

I used port # 6699 - the one for Napster b/c I don't use napster. It still connects, but I get the message every once in a while

Of all of the ports available, WHY the nappyster one ???

Try another, hmmm ?
There are loads of others available, just read the Alternative PORTS info very carefully...
('Carefully' being a really delightful and charming way of saying slowly !)

btw, Don't forget that the fun-loving folks who control your internet connection may just be checking on more than the 'standard' p2p ports...
