connection problems
 

I am a new user to livewire.
When i search for something, i keep getting the message "to connect, select "connect from the "file" menu".
I do this but nothing happens.
I have followed the Windows XP Internet Connection Firewall Instructions from start to finish, but still no joy. Help!
