 Limewire Pro disables my cable modem Please help if anyone has an answer or suggestion! When I launch Limewire Pro (newest version or beta version) the program totally disables my cable modem. I have to completely reset the modem...unplug modem, turn off computer, etc. So of course, I get the "cannot connect" error message. I know it disables it because afterwards I try to access the Internet normally but it doesn't work until I do all the resetting. An older version of Limewire, I think it's 3.6 works so it has to be something in the new software. I figure since I paid for Pro, it should be working! I've had to uninstall the software. System info: Windows XP Mototorola Surfboard SB4200 cable modem Using Adelphia cable AMD 2100+ 1 gig memory 2 HD's (120 gig and 40 gig) Thanks in advance!   |
