cant connect
 

ive tried all the things people have said and my internet is fine, but when ever i try to connect nothing hppens it just stays the same, plz help :'(

Try this -

Go to Control Panel, Internet Settings - select your internet connection from the right panel. On the left panel select "Change settings of this connection" A new panel should pop up. Select the advanced tab on the new panel. Uncheck "Protect my computer"

This is a XP firewall albeit a poor excuse for one. It may or may not be causing your problem. I hope it works. If it doesn't and you have no other firewall you might want to turn it back on. Just reverse the procedure
