Unhappy LimeWire not working on the college wireless network, please help!

Hi

LimeWire does not work on my college network, they only allow http (via a web browser) but kazaa sometimes works on port 1214.

But I want limewire to work, any ideas?

its me again! This is what works on my school network:

Internet Explorer
MSN Messenger
KAzaa (on port 1214)

But LimeWire does NOT work, any help??

its me again!

I know that sometimes I get

proxy1.collegename:8080

or something like that when browsing the web at my school, any ideas? please help.

Your school network probably filters Gnutella traffic.

no its not like that, are there any ports that I can use or will the HTTP 8080 port work? since Internet Explorer works fine.
