Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network.

![]() Hey mal many local colleges block or restrict filesharing. If you can phone someone who administers the college network, ask them if they allow filesharing, especially to "the gnutella network on port 6346." That would explain most of the results you see. Too, some companies, like Sandvine, also sell filesharing controllers. When my ISP experimented with Sandvine's system, for example, most of my connections looked as though I was connecting to myself. |
