Can't Connect
 

Well this seems like an ongoing problem arouns here so here it goes...

We have been using limewire for about 2 months or so now and it always connected right away as soon as we started it up.

Now today, in the lower left hand corner it says in red "disconnected". Went to File, Connect - still nothing. We can see our library but cannot search. I tried to add Gnutella to the firewall list like they suggest but I don't think we were blocking anyone to begin with. Still nothing.

Any suggestions?

Sometimes LW decides to not let you connect (I don't know the real reason). If this problem goes on for more than three days, reply back and be al little more descriptive (OS, version of LW, and so on). Good Luck.

Thank you for your reply... actually it DID clear itself up yesterday. Who knows what *that* was all about!

Sometimes it just doesen't want to let you conect, could be due to network activity, I don't really know. But I'm glad it's all cleared up now.

Hello. Im running on OS9.2. I am not very computer saavy. I downloaded limewire and it says its connecting but never connects. When I try to disconnect it doesnt do anything either. Can somebody help me.!

I am VERY disappointed that I paid for PRO, and cannot get it to open on my desktop. My laptop, connected via wireless network, opens, as does my DSL connection at the office. It must be within my desktop here, but none of the suggestions have worked. I find the "support" to be slow in responding, and so far no help. I guess even they don't know the answers.
