Hi some1 help

I am running on xp
Have aol 9.0 1m b/band
Use norton 04 pro


I have no trouble in connecting to limewire, but after a couple of minutes, it disconnects and an error comes up telling me i either have no internet connection or my firewall is not allowing traffic.
I have found that the problem is that limewire takes over my whole internet connection and overrides aol, aol doesnt shut down, but will not allow me to download or search in aol or limewire. I then have to restart the computer to enable aol to run again

please help me

had the same probs, norton blocks as well, I have returned to AOL8.0 and turn off norton

i dont think it anything to do with the versions of aol because the same thing happens with 8 for me, so im using shareaza now and it seems to be workin fine

You might try turning off McAffee in AOL 9.0. I am running 9.0 and Norton without issues. I turned off or deleted all the spyware & extra bundles that comes with 9.0.

thats odd norm, i can connect with macafee but not with norton

AOL9.0 BLOWS!

I can connect with Mc Affee stand alone also but the version included with AOL 9.0 is what gives me the problems.
