windows 98 can't connect
 

i have been using limewire for a while and never in the past had problems. a couple of weeks ago lw would not connect right away but after several tries it finaly would. now it won't connect at all. i have tried running the free systems check, downloading the latest lw, checking computer compatability, nothing has worked. i have windows 98, limewire 4.0.4, no known firewalls, and everything else is still running fine on my computer (email, internet, etc.). i have tried changing the port and that hasn't helped either. on lw 4.0.4 it says it is connected but when i try to search a box pops up to tell me to click the connect button which i can't do b/c it says it is connected.
