Default Disconnected

I have OSX and I can't get connected to Lime Wire. My firewall is not on and I tried the jar purger but I don't know what I am suppose to do with it. Should I save it as a document? I'm really lost. Please help.

The jar purger is for Windows machines. For OSX, do a Find for anything containing "lime" to find the preference files.

If you can't get connected with the latest LW (currently 4.0.5), you'll need to look upstream of your computer for the block (router? work/university/ISP?).

The purger works on OSX as well. Right click on the link, select Save Link as (or whatever) and double click the saved jar file to launch it. You should see a dialog which asks you if you really want delete the LimeWire preferences...

oops--thanks for the correction Roger ( I guess I tried it on OS 8 or 9 when it didn't work for me).
