It would help to provide your system info, which OS you have & which version of LW you installed in order to be *properly helped*.

I also had connection problems. I am using an iMac OS 9.1 & LW Pro v4.0.4 fixed the connection problem.

No need to type in caps (shouting). We can all hear ya in heah!

Go to limewire.com & download their latest update version for your system. That should solve your connection problem.

Good luck

Question

Booty: Went to Limewire.com and my two options were "Basic", which I have, and Limewire Pro which they want to charge me another fee. I guess I am a little skeptical to lay out any more money when they cant even get their basic program to work.

Am I looking at the right downloads or were you referring to something else.

Thanks

Hey cramdgc,

you say you already paid for a Pro version? Well if you did, then you should know that you have 6 months of free upgrades. Now, I haven't bought the Pro yet and the Basic version is free, so I figure that if you click Pro then there might be somewhere where you can input a code or something (provided with the Pro version probably).

By same system & *latest* I am assuming you have Windows XP & LimeWire Pro v4.0.5?
If so, then you cannot in now way compare your system info to your friends system info. Macs OS are different from Windows & LW v4.0.3 is not the *latest*.

You need to post back to clarify your system info & which version of LW you have & Pro or Free?
