For all those who can't connect.

Yesterday I upgraded to the lateset version of LW (Not Pro). Like many others I couldn't connect, I changed my firewall, deleted eveything re-installed etc etc but still no joy. I then installed a fresh version on a completely different machine that has never had LW installed and it works absolutley fine. This tells me that the problem is something to do with having an old version on the system and then installing a new version. Mayby a preference/file is left behind form the old software that conflicts with the new? Can anyone else that is having problems confirm whether they are upgrading, or installing for the first time. If anyone knows where this preference/file is then I would like to know so I can re-install on my original Mac.

The above is for OS 9.x users or earlier. You didn't indicate which OS system you are using.
