Default oh yeah

The main problem that seems to be occuring is the IP address isn't staying as 127.0.0.1. It changes no matter what i do. It doesn't change until after I close out the network connections box. How do I get the numbers for the IP to stay in the dialog box? And does it matter that it changes? Everything else stays the way that I enter it except that one part. Is that why I can't connect???? HELP!

Do you have a proxy by any chance, cause I know one which changes every 10 sec.

I'm having the same problem. What's a proxy, how do I know if I have one, and most importantly, how do I fix it?

Oh, by the way, mine doesn't change every 10 seconds. As long as I dont close the advanced settings box, I'm ok, but once I do, no matter how long it's been, it changes the IP address to some default thing.

you know that if you've instaled one you can also check in your ie settings since it usually detects it. for that you go to tools, internet options, and look for a heading saying proxy or look in conections it depends cause there are different versions. When you find it try to alter it's settings a little so it doesn't change as often. Maybe you'd want to reinstal it if everything else fails
