Default new user,connection problems

i just downloaded limewire and im having some problems getting it to connect....it'll load up and say connecting for about a second but then it says disconnect...i use a linksys wireless system and my connection is not always great but even when it is it still won't connect...im using WinXp...if anyone can help me fix this problem please post.....thank you

Ah, ah, ah. Watch out for XP's built-in firewall. It might be activated, in which case it might also need configuring to allow LW to connect.

how do i disable xp's firewall using a wireless connection?

well in an easier well..is very easy steps how do i access XP's firewall...i need some help here

I don't have an xp firewall but I think it should be in the control panel in the start menu. open it and just read the titles and one of them should say this
