FireWall!!!!!!!

i have windows xp professional...and i have windows firewall...and i think because of that i cant connect to limewire! i already did the whole thing where you open the ports or whatever i did that... but its still not connecting AHH

Firewalls is not my area but see this thread. to test if it is your firewall that's the problem. Hope this helps.

I don't think the Windows XP firewall is causing your problems. Do you have a direct connection to the internet (NOT via some college or school network for example) ?
Are you using ZoneAlarm?
