Can't connect at all!!!!!!
 

I've installed limewire on win 98. Well, it shows disconnected/ no files available. When I go to File - connect, it doesn't work at all, never gets green and i don't know what to do... please, can anyone help me? i'm desperated

do you have any firewalls or proxies? please mention which ones.
these sometimes can block the connection or cause connection problems

Nope, I have no firewalls or proxies.. that's why I don't know what's going on with my connection

did you try fully reinstalling LW, (deleting the '.limewire' folder in documents and settings and the 'Limewire' folder usually in program files. Did you also try downloading it agian, or downloading the beta version

if you need further help on how to do the above, or if it's not that just ask
