Default WinXPSP2 Upgrade then no connect

HI,

I have had perfect connection, but got a virus or something in Norton, so had to uninstall and re-install, I also took this opportunity to update Windows (via Web downloads) The Firewall windows have all changed, but i believe i am still letting Gnutella through on 6346. Also Norton is allowing Line through but i cannot connect - it shows many attempts but nothing happens, what could it be?

See this: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=26886 Check your results. You're not the only person who has had problems after updating to WinXPSP2.

As long as it says false then it's (most probably) XP's firewall behind the problem (I guess you must already know that though...). Have you tried disabling every firewall-like thingy to see if you can connect or not (in case it's not the firewalls, but I doubt it).

My last suggestion would be to see this thread. This may also help.
