 keeps showing disconnected just subscribed to limewire as recommended on mp3downloadhq.com. once subscribed i was able to do a couple of downloads, the signal strength as shown by the green bars was good. once i went away and had to launch limewire by using the shortcut icon on my desktop the pages appear but it wont connect. the signal is poor (all red) when I try to connect using the file option it just keeps showing disconnected. I am using windows me on a 56k dial up modem at home. I have norton professional antivirus software. I dont know if I have a firewall or not. My dial up connection has 1470 enabled so my tel no is not given out when phoning out, can any body please help? I have seen previous threads suggesting lw be left on for a few minutes etc.. this doesn't seem to have helped.  |
