I am assuming everyone else is having the same connection problems as me. None of my roomates can connect either, it lingers on poor for a second, then goes back to connecting. I brought my laptop to my neighbors house and i was turbocharged in seconds. I dont understand it. HELP!!!

You're most likely being blocked by a firewall. There's probably one connected to your network. Do a search of the forum to find out if this is your problem & what you might be able to do about it.

Are you connected via a network? If it's a college netwk, then they'll have their own firewall. Also some companies & schools deliberately try to block p2p use.

so your room mates are on the network. make shure the source doesn't have any firewalls and it's not college/school/unicersity. as Lord of the rings mentioned they block p2p. I guess it's cause they don't want to get sued by the riaa or anything.
