Default Multiple Wireless connections

I successfully downloaded limewire from the house via wireless connection and was able to download songs. When I get to campass, which also has a wireless connection, it wont connect.
Can I only download from the house since that was where it originated or is there a place where I can choose different connections. Thanks for the help.

I think you'll find your school has firewalls & may even deliberately block p2p apps. At school in LW: click Tools->Options & go to Bug report and click for an example. In the window that appears scroll down to the part that says: "Recieved incoming this session". If it says true then LW has no problem with firewalls, if false then it does.

I dont have a Bug Report under my internet options, or any kind of report. I also did a search on my computer for a bug report, and came up with nothing. I could be overlooking it, but I doubt it.
Could it be called something else?
Thanks for your help.

There should be something there under LW's Tools-Options called Bug Reports. Which version of LW do u have? You didn't tell me which OS you're using either, these things help. If you're using Mac OSX, go to LW's Prefs & Bug Reports.

If you know somebody who works in the school's netwk tech dept then perhaps you could put a kind suggestion forward. But otherwise it can be difficult. Do a search of the forum for this issue. 'dorm' & 'school' are 2 possible search criteria. There might be possible ways, but I'm not a connection know how.
