connection problems
 

i just recently got a new mac osx and downloaded limewire but it won't connect. well, it connected once but it was a poor connection. i've turned off all my firewalls and i'm connected to the internet and can browse so there's no problem there. i tried what one of the other messages said about sharing all my files and that didnt work either. i'm connected through cable at school and i know my university does not block file sharing. oh i also tried deleting the prefrences. what else can i do?

Run Software update. If nothing comes up, then uninstall LW and go to the site and redld it. If it doesn't work, try the beta version.
If it still won't work, try uninstalling Java, then redlding and installing it (Java, not LW) again.
