I want to let u know that I followed the instruction and it did not work for me.
But finally on the bottom right side by the clock I saw the icon for the Norton Internet Security, I clicked on it and I saw the Personal Firewall option and opened it and Isaw the Limewire was all blocked.
I just changed the option to Permit all and exit all windows.
I restarted Limewire and it is WORKING.............for me.

Finally, after like a month of searching for results, I found them w/ your help! But now I have an entirely new problem that I believe can be fixed easily, but not sure how. I went to Norton Internet Security and messed around w/ the firewall settings until I got LW to connect again, but now I cannot connect to anything else involving internet connection such as Internet Explorer, AIM, etc. Did I screw something up in the firewall process?! HELP ME!

Do you think if I just uninstall Norton Internet Security, I wouldn't have to worry about all thos pesky firewall problems? All I want to do is be able to connect to LW and the internet w/ out all the firewall mumbo jumbo. Is Norton Internet Security even THAT necessary?

Geez, sry. So all I should do is just uninstall, reinstall, and setup internet connection to manual? How do I go about to do this? I'm not computer saavy, trust me. HELP!
