| Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network.

 Says "Connecting"... But will still search and download, but verrry slowly Hi, My connection used to work last week. Now, it does not! This saddens me greatly! It keeps saying "connecting"...and while it says that I can search and start to download... but the downloads are at 1kb/s...and a couple of times it has gone up to "good", but the downloads are still very slow. I do not have a slow internet connection, and this is not making much sense to me... and it is NOT just limewire...Ive tried Imesh, Morpheos, etc. and they do not connect as well. Kazza connects like Limewire, but downloads are also extremely slow, like .03kb/s. Limewire is by far the best of these programs...and I have never had a problem untill now. I AM: -on XP. ...Firewall disabled tho. Zone Alarm disabled. -University connection people say file sharing programs are not blocked... and that it shouldn't be a problem -I have tried switching different ports, nothing changes. -It also says "recieved incoming this session: true" Does anyone have any ideas to help this poor girl out? Thanks for any help!  |
