Default poor connection

i can not can not connect better than poor. any suggestions

I had so much trouble connecting and now that I'm finally connected, it is poor. does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this???

i skipped a few things. I'm running on win xp home and have limewire 4.0.8 Before I couldn't connect at all but then found some solutions on this forum that seemed to help. but now I have such a poor connection. How could I make my connection stronger???

Have you tried the deleting preferences fix?

yep, I've been having to do that all day. that and turning my tips off and disabling connect at startup. Now it seems to be working but takes forever to connect.

Which service pack are you using?
