I have tried everything suggested to get Limewire to work again. I do not have Sp2 downloaded so that problem is non-existent, I have removed the .limewire folder a couple times, reinstalled Limewire, installed the interrnational limewire, and my Bug Report example works fine.

I went through the firewall instructions for XP and everything is enabled. I don't understand. I have even tried reinstalling Windows. What can i do?

Are you trying to connect from home? Trying to connect from a dorm or work connection won't work because they very frequently use firewalls to block p2p.
If you're at home, try contacting your ISP and asking them what the deal is between them and p2p: are they blocking it, blah blah blah?

Oh, forgot to ask: what is your exact problem? No connection? Low connection status? No dlds/uploads?

This is the problem. If he/she is using the same line its from a University.

So Limewire did work before from this line? Ask your network admi if they changed the firewall settings and if they are blocking P2P clients.
