Cannot Connect with ME
 

I am sure many are sick of the cries for help with connecting issues. I tried to find my answer so I would not have to post yet another question, but I cannot find what I need. I have only had Limewire for a short time. It worked fine before and now I cannot connect no matter what I do.

I have the newest LW version
I have the newest Java version
I have no Firewall
I
cannot find the LW preference folder. Other posts say to go to:
Windows:
C:/Documents And Settings/your_username/.limewire
But I run ME and do not have a doc and settings directory....nor do I have a user name so I don't have a clue how to get there to see if that will solve my problem. It is sure frustrating tho to see so many issues with this and yet so many still unable to connect.

Can anyone please help me figure out what is wrong. THANK YOU!!

Can anyone tell me where else to go for help. I got no reply to my message here, yet MANY have viewed it. This is obviously a problem for many people. The connect is so poor and I have tried everything found in the help in here, yet it still won't work so I don't know where to go from here.
Sorry to sound frustrated but I guess I wish now I would not have purchased this. Had I known there was so many issues I would not have. I had Kazza for years and never had a problem.. I just don't understand it.

Do a search for ".limewire" (without the quotes) and ME will locate the folder for you.
