Default Connection Problems Grrrrrrr

This really isnt fair now as I use LW every day, its ok when I run it for the first minute, but then I get the pop up saying *your system is not connected to the internet please click connect from the file menu* which I do and still nothing happens, and I'm on limewire pro, ever since I downloaded service pack 2 this is happening, and I turned of the windows firewall so it cant be that, and I never had this problem before as using aol 9 and the mcafee firewall you get with it. please does anyone have any surgestions about this or is anyone else having the same problem

thankyou very much

Since I'm not a windows user I can only surmise that your problem is due to the SP2 update. It has caused many people problems. There's been a number of solutions suggested, BUT one may fix your problem but not all. Each person's comp is a little different. SP2 reduces the connections (or something like that) that can connect to your computer. There's a patch & there's also other solutions. Dare I suggest it, but do a search of the forum using the term SP2. Use the search button at top-right of page inbetween faq & home buttons.
