Default Need Help!!

Ok I had LW pro on my desktop and it ran fine now when I installed in onto my laptop I get the error that says LW was unable to set up a port to listen for incoming connections. Some features of LW may not work as expected. What the heck is this suppose to mean? If someone could please help me it would be greatly appreciated. O yeah I am running windows xp OS.

It could mean that your XP firewall (or any other firewall you may have for that matter, but if you have the service pack 2 then it's probable that you don't even know that XP's firewall is active) is blocking LW.
Check these out and try some of the suggestions:

I too am still waiting for my letter from Mr. Gates to tell me has kindly loaded onto my PC his XP firewall, and swiched it on! I got supplied with another 'extra special', unnannounced service in that it too loused up my settings.

I have switched off Mr Gates gift, as I already have McCaffee. Everything seems to be back to working ok.

Isn't he a lovely man? If only I had his home address I would be able to send him a special Christmas Card to thank him!

A quote (as I remember it) from a fan-made "Apple-switch" supposedly made by Bill Gates (you know, the ones where people come up and say stuff like: " Oh YEAH! I had Windoze but switched to Mac and they're sooooo great!"): " My OS claims to be Plug-n-Play but I like to think of it as Plug-n-Pay Billy Gates.

Isn't that just lol?
