Can't connect

I have gone through the firewall solutions on the webpage (i have windows firewall).

The solutions have led to me being able to connect for about a maximum of 3 minutes before something shuts the connection down. I can almost watch it dieing slowly in front of me.

This has happened three times The second time, I manually added the ports in the advanced section. The first time I added them in the exceptions list.

The third time I disabled the firewall completely. I was connected for about 30 secs before the connection shut down.


I have tried the test page to see if I can connect to the network, and the test page (i found the link on another post in a different forum message). It reported that my computer could report to the network, so i am connected or can, but the limewire program always ends up giving me a message that something (it suggests a firewall) is blocking my connection.

I have no idea what to do now.....

I have recently added XP service pack 2 and I also happen to live in korea. generally living in seoul has made connections easier as this country is wired to gills.

I have Limewire 4.0.8 and I have an ADSL connection. Up until recently I have had no problem using the program. I also recently changed my anti virus software from PC CILLIN to V3 due to the fact that PC CILLIN wasnt allowing people who lived in Korea to download updates anymore...
