Zone Alarm Problems!
 

Poblems with Zone Alarm installation & questions raised about ZA spying?
Response to some issues raised to uninstall/delete.

Zone alarm files to look for:
minilog.exe vspubapi.dll
vsmon.exe vsdata.dll
vsdb.dll vsmonapi.dll
vsruledb.dll vsutil.dll
iamdb.rdb vsnetutils.dll
vsdata95.vxd html.tdr?(not a big deal)

I upgraded from ZA 2.1.44 to 2.6.88
Unknown file associated with ZA in system files
vsmon.rpt

Also problem with upgrading ZA 2.1.44 to 2.6.88
messages (on every attempt to reinstall)
1. ZA is trying to initialize true vector internet monitor on your computer.
2. Unable to connect to true vector service
cannot configure access rules.
(UNSUCCESSFUL)
ZA 2.6.88 could not be installed, followed all
support from ZA, but no luck.
E-mailed ZA no...still no answer!

Changed to Sygate Personal Firewall.
Seems to be SLICK.
Lots of disconnections/lockups with ZA but not
with Sygate Firewall.

RPCSS.dll file OK check www.cexx.org for INFO
Internet log files I deleted (no harm)
ZAlog.txt
IAMDB.RDB
xxxx.LDB your personal computer xxxxx
Had file SFC.log which updated from 2.1.44
(I deleted that)
My computer is not being SPYED by ZONE ALARM
or LOCKED UP/CRASHED!!!!
