Angry Connection disaster

I am completely anable to connect to the server. I've completed all of the recommended steps having to do with firewalls, I've had my local tech guy look at it and can't figure out what's wrong. Are there ANY MORE suggestions? I'd love to be able to use this program but am totally at a loss and frustrated. Even if I completely disable the firewally it won't connect. I am in a university buiding which uses DHCP, if that makes any difference.

Help!

I think that's your problem! Many schools are deliberately blocking p2p use nowadays. It uses up a lot of their bandwidth & dwnld allowances which they pay a lot of money for.

Were they from the school? If so they should know which ports are being blocked & which aren't. Have you tried forcing IP. You may even need to do a proxy (which I know nothing about - someone else here might.)

Red face school disaster

Indeed, I contacted my university tech guys and Limewire is blocked from use within our system. I guess I'll have to wait for graduation before taking advantage of this program. Thanks for the reply though.
