cant stay connected
 

i can only stay connected for about ten minutes after i first turn on my computer going from turbo,excellent, good, fair, poor and disconnected. It may reconnect going to excellent about an hour later but only for two or three minutes before it disconnects??

Hope you're not trying to dwnld too many files simultaneously or force resuming a large no. of files, b/c both these things can play havoc with your connection quality. When LW is open & been running for a while (whilst connection quality is still reasonable) create a sample bug report (click here for instructions & sample image) & post back your result.1. Is it True or False? 2. What OS version do you have, 3. what firewalls do you have, 4. what brand & model of modem & routers do you use, 5. what type of connection do you have, & 6. where are you connecting from (home, school, work, etc.)?

trying to download about five at a time. the bug report said true and not firewalls that i know of. I have a 9.2 voice faxmodem with a phone connection at home..
also i never see any uploads?
could that be a problem and how do i allow uploads..

Pretty much same problem since version 3.2 or so. I can't get connected at anything better than FAIR. It might connect at GOOD for five seconds and go back to FAIR.
I have version 4.1.10 now. I deleted my preferences but that did not help. I am running Win2k.

If I look under Connections tab, Limewire is connected to 1 host using Ultrapeer protocol. Sometimes Limewire is able to connect to a 2nd host, but it drops it after about 10 seconds. It is trying to connect to other hosts that use 0.6 protocol, but it does not seem to work.

now i am getting an error message that says limewire has encountered an internal error and has a send button (which i have sent) I have restarted and it seems to come back alright but still doesnt want to connect for a while ..
I am wondering if i upgraded to pro would this take care of the problems or would they be the same with just faster downloads when i can connect
