Router Firewall Disabling...

Hi,

I have been reading on the forums and have noticed that it is often mentioned to disable your router firewall to enable an enhanced connection to the network and improved download and upload speeds. If I disable the NAT(Network Address Translator) on my router will that solve the firewall problem?

No. It is not recommended that you disable your firewall on the router. You'll have to do port forwarding to open your clieent to the network. Look at my post in this thread for more infos:
