Default connection problems

Lime wire tells me I'm not connected to the network & won't let me search BUT while I'm getting a download!!?!

Being able to continue a DownLoad from an individual is not the same as being able or unable to 'connect to the network'.

There are a variety of causes for your inability to connect to Ultrapeers...

We need a bit more info from you as to the LW version you are running
and
what Operating System
Firewall
ISP connection type
Are you at a school or work or at home...

The first question is how are you able to download ?
You must have been with a viable connection at some time in order to do the search that resulted in the file being selected by you and then the download started, right ???

have file version 1.0.0.1. windows XP & use this at home. Most of the time It tells me I'm connecting But also says I'm not connected to the network.My firewall is off. thanks for any help, T49
