 i deactivated all firewalls and connect via LAN to the universities network. i am sorry but i dont understand what you mean with 'type of lan and devices involved'. i totally deactivated the windows firewall. normally i use norton internet security but when i tried connecting with LW (version 4.2.2) i disabled the firewall (even the antivirus software, just in case) thanx for your quick reply inkho  |
