Was but now not connected!
 

I downloaded LM Pro and new version but cannot connect. Have been through the IP address situation and have removed firewall
protection but still I am not connected.
I had one glorious day were the program worked and now it is dead. Should I download again? The basic version worked rather then the paid version.
Can someone point me in the right direction.

What is your set up? 1. Which Operating System version do you use? 2. What brand name & model number of modem do you use? 3. Where are yo connecting from: home, school, work, etc.? 4. What type of firewall do you use?

If you're a windows user update your Java: Java 1.4.x OR Java 1.5 (take the JRE)

You can configure your XP firewall here: http://www.limewire.com/english/content/firewalls.shtml You shouldn't have to run without a firewall. Though getting LW going 1st is certainly a priority & easiest w/o the firewall to think about. Make sure you have Anti-Virus, adaware, spyware.
