 Poor Search Results I am experiencing very poor search results for all types of searches. I had problems with connecting last week, and this week I am connected but not finding anything I'm looking for. When I click on statistics it says there are only about 14,000 files on the network from 3 current hosts and 47 total. I'm on a college ethernet connection. T1 I would assume? XP, and I'm using version 4.2.2. Any help would be appreciated  |

 College network. You're very lucky b/c too many collesed nowadays are blocking p2p use b/c it uses a large amount of bandwidth & uses up dwnld quantity which they pay big money for. Try Force IP: LW settings image for Force IP: (& my image sample) Also, a well set-up LW can start to continue its dwnlding after it's settled down perhaps 2 out of 3 times you open LW. Optimising LW & Maximising Uplds & Dwnlds A (1st post only) & also Part B which is even better & last & least are search & dwnld hints. |
