trouble browsing files with router
 

Hi I have two computers connected to a tv set top box via a 4 port router, I can transfer files between the two and the connection is excellent, however I cannot browse the shared folders or connect by inputting the Ip address, any help?

Wht type of router are you talking about? Brand name & model no. would help. Sounds like you'd need to port forward them. And you'll would likely need to open different ports for each. To my knowledge 2 computers cannot share the same port when it's been port forwarded.
