Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network.

![]() I was finally able to track down the problem and got connected and wanted to share with you what I discovered because it may help others. The problem was one of the settings in my Norton Internet Security. The problem had to do with the Personal Firewall. I could leave Personal Firewall on, but on the Programs Tab - Manual Program Control I had LimeWire set at Block All. It worked when I changed this setting to Permit All. In the end I solved the problem on my own, but I do appreciate the responsiveness you showed along the way. Thanks. |
