Angry !!!! dam this thing to hell!!!

holy crap!!!!!

limewire has never worked on my computer. i have a linksys conncection. my computer its a sony vaio. its brand new!!

i use roadruner. my modem is pcx2500 toshiba. its brand new also!!!

i have tried - deleting the .limewire file, forwarding the port 6346 2 diffrent ways, the frist way i went to internet connections, and i enabled the firewall then added the port as TCP to localhost. i have also tried it has my ip address and my computer name. VAULED-somthing.

the secound way i tried was they the linksys. i put in my ip adress im the adress bar and went in there as an admin. well last time i tried this was as far as i got before i had a nevours meltdown and destoryed everything i saw in sight.

now none of theese things work. now since you guys are super smart and studied how to do this type of sheit! please freakin tell me how to fix limewire!

So the the port forwarding was a bit tough to do. I know it seems a bit daunting. But if you were using a high level net game or video conferencing in particular, then you'd need to open more than just one port. You do need to read those instructions very carefully. Just a few small tricks which may or may not make any diference but just a thought: 1. Repair LimeWire using the Add/Remove Programs utility. Go to Control Panel then Add/Remove Programs & click on Limewire on the Change/Remove button & it comes up with options and one of them is Repair. Try this.
2. Right-clicking the Limewire icon and going to properties and changed compatability setting to Windows 2000.
